1. The working medium of the water-mixing centrifugal pump is different from that of the centrifugal clean pump, which allows the transport of liquids containing certain particles and PH value≥3. It does not belong to the clean water pump and does not belong to the chemical corrosion resistant pump. It is a special centrifugal pump designed for the circulating water condition characteristics of the flue gas water film dust collector of coal-fired boilers, called the water-mixing centrifugal pump (Figure 1).

 

2. The water-mixing centrifugal pump is in addition to the above special working conditions and the external bidirectional mechanical seal with tap water flushing cooling structure. The others are the same as the SB-ZL centrifugal clean water pump, with high efficiency and energy saving, easy installation and maintenance.

 

3. The installation and use method of the water-mixing centrifugal pump is basically the same as that of the centrifugal clean water pump, and the key difference is that  the water inlet hose must be connected to the tap water below before operation. The upper drainage hose is connected to the extension hose as needed and fed into the sedimentation tank of the pump to absorb water and reuse tap water. In order to save the water supply is strictly controlled to 100~200 kg per hour. And be sure to see the water input and outflow before starting operation. Otherwise, it will immediately burn the two external bidirectional mechanical seals. In winter, the pump that is shut down must first cut off the water source, and then manually open a small ball valve in the opposite direction of the drainage hose below, and drain the water stored in the mechanical seal chamber to prevent ice from damaging the machine seal and the inner shell. (See Figure 2 for details)

 

4. The inlet and outlet caliber of this kind of pump has been enlarged by the second gear than the clean water pump. However, as shown in Figure 3, when the inlet pipe is inverted, the economic flow rate of the pipeline should be ≤2m/s. Some pump inlet pipes need to be enlarged by 1~2, and the outlet pipes need to be enlarged by 2~3 and the inlet is the same diameter. If the pump absorb water from below and connect pipe as shown in Figure 4 and Figure 5, the suction flow rate is less than 12m/s according to the standard requirements. Therefore, the inlet pipe of the pump needs to be enlarged 3 to 4 levels. However, at this time, the pump outlet pipe still only needs to enlarge 2 to 3 levels, which is smaller than the inlet pipe.

 

5. All the main parts of the pump, such as: casing, impeller, tail cover, impeller nut, front cover, etc., are made of special stainless steel precision casting, because the pump shaft can only use 3Cr13 tempered stainless steel due to strength, stiffness, etc., its surface is also made of special stainless steel sleeve to ensure no loss.

 

6. The pump uses external bidirectional mechanical seal to flush water, so that the seal is basically not in contact with the sewage and small particles in the pump shell, completely running in tap water, which can be used for 2 to 3 years. However, the key is to follow the above requirements.

 

7. If the two external mechanical seals need to be repaired and replaced,it is removed from the motor shaft, but when it is installed with a new machine seal, firstly use the root hollow core short shaft (φ35 and φ50 two kinds). The machine seal is first installed on the short shaft, and then slowly pull out the short shaft, while pulling out, synchronize to follow the motor shaft head, and finally let the two new machine seals settle on the motor shaft, otherwise it is not easy to assemble.
